HOVBORG KRO has gained a reputation for good Danish regional specialities, carefully prepared like in the good old days with butter and cream at hand. A walk in the woods around Hovborg or down the footpath on the banks of the Holme Å is quite an experience. One can walk for hours without meeting other people. There are good fishing possibilities in Holme Å, a small river which flows right through the inn garden.

Hovborg Kro is ideal as a base for playing golf on the courses in the locality.
